My major hobby since my teens was building models; airplanes, trains, and boats. After starting retirement, my daughter Elizabeth had suggested for some time that I should explore painting as another hobby. Especially since my retirement community sponsors an art instructor. So, my art journey started!

The images below are simple cell phone photographs made in our art studio under less than desirable lighting.  Where a “glazing” medium has been used in the paints, the photograph may show a reflection. Please disregard. Also, the photo, by chance, may not be the latest photo. Like all original art, it should be seen in person to be appreciated. Many have mats and been framed…nicer. Regardless, if you like a painting, let me know. I’d appreciate it.
