Lentil Soup

1 lb. Lentil beans
13 to 15 cups water (desired thickness)
Salt, pepper, red pepper to taste
Dump in one (1) big onion chopped
Dump in one (1) bell pepper chopped
Slice one (1) lb. Andouille sausage lengthwise in thin slices
1/2 bunch green onions

1. Let cook about 1 1/2 hours. Towards the end of the
   cooking time, dump in two (2) cups carrots, sliced thins.

2. You can add garlic powder and any spices you like to use.
