Ingredients (This recipe should make 6 dozen)

2 Cups sugar
2 Cups chopped walnuts
1 Cup melted butter
¼ Cup Aniseed
¼ Cup Annisette
2 Tablespoons water
2 Tablespoons vanilla
5 ½ Cups flour
6 eggs
1 Tablespoon baking powder

Preparation
Mix ingredients. Beat in eggs. Add baking powder and flour. Cover and wrap; refrigerate for 3 hours. Grease a cookie sheet. Divide mixture into 5 pieces. Shape each piece into a loaf ½ inches high by 2 inches wide. Keep pieces 4 inches apart.

Bake
Bake until firm (20 minutes approximately at 375 degree oven). Let cool for 30 minutes. Cut each loaf diagonally into ½ inch pieces. Place pieces on their side and bake until brown (about 7 minutes). Repeat again on the other side. Cool on racks.

Serve
Offer the Biscotti as a cocktail item. They go extremely well with mixed drinks, or wine
